George Andrews epitomizes the hard working, no frills work ethic of Nantucket life in the "days of yore". No one locked their doors, or had to, there were no murders for 300 years, not even violent arguments over politics or mundane views, everybody had at least one job, most had two or three. I have attempted to capture the tranquility and calm of that era reflected in the water and Mr. Andrews himself.
